Biography

Glynn Perry has been driving profitable growth for 25 years. His experience includes businesses of all sizes, from small startups to Fortune 500 publicly traded companies. A seasoned leader, Glynn brings decades of success as a senior executive to his role at SOLID, scaling CEOs, executives, and high-potential leaders.

 

Since 1995, Glynn has been growing leaders and creating individualized leadership development plans. In these capacities, he provides his deep expertise in leadership, strategy and transformation. Leveraging his C-suite executive experience, Glynn knows intimately the challenges that executives face. He has helped companies ranging in size between $1M and $1B successfully develop leaders, maximize profitability, operate more efficiently and increase enterprise value. A true champion of diversity, equity and inclusion, Glynn is most widely known for his skills and expertise in coaching a diverse group of senior executives and high-potential leaders

 

Glynn is Senior Executive Partner and CEO/executive coach at SOLID, delivering coaching, advising, and consulting to senior-level executives and high-potential leaders.

 

From 2016 to 2021, Glynn served in the C-suite for RR Donnelly, a $4.8B global provider of integrated multichannel communications. As the EVP of Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer, he spearheaded a company-wide business transformation
effort that yielded $400M in cost savings and shaped the company’s portfolio by executing the divestiture of a $600M logistics business. From 2014 to 2016, Glynn served as President of RR Donnelly, holding full P&L responsibility for a $1B business. From 2000 to 2014, he served as SVP of Operations. Glynn began his career as a customer service representative.

 

A graduate of Kansas State University, Glynn received his MBA from Eastern Illinois University. After a successful college baseball career, he was drafted by the New York Yankees, where he played for a minor league affiliate. Glynn and his wife Marketi have two adult children and five grandchildren. When not spending time with them he enjoys sporting events, landscaping, and home improvement projects. Glynn serves on multiple private and not-for-profit boards where he is focused on optimal governance and fiduciary responsibilities.
