Steven DuPree has more than 21 years of executive and leadership experience in small, middle-market, and Fortune 1000 technology companies. His entire career has been focused on sales, sales management, and business development and he is known for his significant expertise in these areas.

DuPree is a Partner with SOLIDexecutive, a leading global provider of CEO advising, consulting, and senior executive coaching services. He is responsible for developing strategic relationships, channel partnerships, and business development initiatives. DuPree is also Managing Director at Clear Edge Partners, a consulting firm which reduces corporate IT expenditures by providing clients with critical vendor intelligence during hardware, software, and service acquisitions.

Known for his ability to design and implement global, multi-channel sales strategies, Dupree has consistently generated significant new business within enterprise, middle-market, and SMB customers. He has enjoyed greater than two decades of experience providing sales leadership, planning, strategy, and product solutions within the IT and telecommunications industries.

Between 2010 and 2012, DuPree led sales for EMC’s Central US region. He designed a new mid-market division and directed an organization consisting of 26 top sales leaders. Within this term, DuPree developed more than 95 channel partners and increased revenue 78% within one year. Prior to this, between 2002 and 2010, he served as a key sales executive with Double-Take Software, where he directed all sales for the Western region of North America. He helped lead the company’s IPO in 2007 by driving revenue growth 960% within 7 years. During his tenure, DuPree changed the sales model, launched a new sales division, and developed channels including Dell, HP, and VMware. As a result, he generated more than 50% of total revenue in the Western US. He also developed a global systems integrator division for Federal and Commercial markets which generated revenue growth from $0 to $6M within year one. DuPree began his career in the telecommunications industry in the 1990s.

DuPree is active on the boards of SOLID Leaders and the Four Points Basketball Association. He also serves as a leader in charitable organizations including ACF, Young Life, Campus Crusade, and the Nicaraguan Resource Network. He holds a B.A. in Management Information Systems from California State University.
